The campus of the University of Lynchburg is a small, rural school, but it has up-to-date facilities for women’s basketball. The gym, which seats 1,000 people and is called the David S. Hardwood Center, is not only a good size for a small town like Lynchburg but it also has an excellent atmosphere.

The locker room facilities are also up to date: they have all been recently renovated and are cleaned regularly. There are two separate showers in each locker room (one for men, one for women), so you won’t be sharing with anyone else while you’re changing into or out of your clothes after practice or games!

The Lynchburg Hornets men’s basketball program is a collegiate basketball team competing in the NCAA Division III and competes in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). The Hornets have been a member of the conference since 1973.

The Hornets are coached by Tyler White, who was formerly an assistant coach at Virginia Tech before joining the staff at LU. In his first season as head coach, he led them to their first ODAC Tournament title since 2010, defeating Emory & Henry on March 7th, 2016. As of 2019 season they have an all-time record of 971-816 which includes 6 trips to NCAA Tournament appearances. They last qualified for NCAA tournament in 2014 where they lost in 1st round against Stevenson University 76-71 on March 17th .

Each year coaches from across the nation submit ballots ranking their top 15 teams (and some rank only 10) for USA Today Coaches Poll but only top 25 teams are ranked within Associated Press Top 25 Rankings which takes into account results from nonconference games as well as conference play during regular season play until conference tournament starts when rankings begin being based solely on showing during postseason action instead.”
