I’m a huge Michigan State Spartans fan. I bleed green and white, and the only thing that could make me happier on game day is three-day stubble on my face.

The University of Michigan State was founded in 1856 by an act of Congress that provided federal land for the university. Shortly after this land grant, the first classes were held on campus. In 1858, John A. Hannah was appointed as the second president of Michigan State; he served in this capacity until 1888 (he also served as acting president from 1867-1868). Hannah’s tenure saw many significant changes occur at MSU including increasing enrollment numbers and expanding academic offerings across campus. Does the Big Ten have a championship tournament?
Yes, the Big Ten Tournament is an annual conference championship tournament that takes place in Madison Square Garden, New York City. The event was first held in 1998 and is now sponsored by Kraft Heinz.
The winner of the tournament is awarded an automatic bid to play in one of four NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournaments (the others being the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight and Final Four). Teams are placed into brackets based on their regular season records; if teams have identical records then they are seeded based on their strength of schedule instead. Teams play a single-elimination format until only four teams remain; these teams then compete for a chance at winning the title and gaining entry to the NCAA Tournament.
