What is the application fee?
The application fee for all Texas residents is $75 and must be paid online by credit card. Please contact your high school counselor if you have any questions about this process; they can also share with you other ways that apply fees can be waived or deferred at their institution.
When will I be notified of the admissions decision?
The admissions committee reviews applications on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified of their admissions decision by the end of February. If you are not accepted, you will receive an email from our office confirming this information. If you have been accepted, we will send another email with instructions for submitting your deposit and enrollment materials as well as providing helpful information about becoming an Aggie!
Is financial aid available?
If you’re wondering if financial aid is available, the answer is yes. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Financial aid comes in three main kinds: grants, scholarships, and loans. Grants are awarded based on need or merit and do not have to be repaid. Scholarships also do not have to be repaid but are typically awarded based on academic achievement or other factors rather than financial need. Loans are borrowed money that must be paid back with interest over time; however, there are several types of loan programs that offer flexible repayment plans based on your income level and circumstances so that it may be easier for you to manage your costs while enrolled at school.

For example, if the applicant’s local time is 6:00 p.m., then the application must be submitted by 11:00 a.m., Eastern Time (4:00 p.m., Central Time). In this case, the applicant will have an hour to submit his or her application before it gets rejected due to being past the deadline; however, if he or she submits it at exactly 11:01 a.m., Eastern Time (4:01 p.m., Central Time) then he or she will still have time left over in order to submit everything correctly because they didn’t hit their deadline yet!
