Villanova University is a private, coeducational, research university located in the Villanova section of Radnor Township, a suburb northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Named after Saint Thomas of Villanova, the school is the oldest and largest Catholic university in Pennsylvania.

The School of Nursing at Villanova University is committed to excellence in nursing education. We offer one program—a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with three specializations: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care; Family Health; Neonatal/Paediatric Care. Our MSN program has been approved by the Commonwealth through the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s State Board for Professional Licensure as well as by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Villanova’s main campus is located just outside Philadelphia. The university also has campuses in Center City Philadelphia and South Philadelphia.

The Villanova University School of Medicine, which is located in Pennsylvania, received 1,093 applications for its most recent entering class. Of these applicants, 532 were invited in for an interview, at which point they were given a second chance to impress the admissions committee. After this round of interviews, 178 candidates were accepted into the program. The school’s total enrollment (including both first-year students and transfers) was 141 students as of 2018-19 academic year.
