Can I apply as a re-entry student?

Yes. You can apply for the scholarship as a re-entry student if you have been out of school for at least five years and meet all other eligibility requirements. The application process is the same as for any other applicant, but you will need to update your transcripts in your application. If you are selected as a finalist, we will contact you directly to request additional information.

How do I apply for the Wallin Scholarship?

  • Determine your eligibility. Wallin Education Partners’ scholarships are offered to all high school students in the state of Washington, and is open to any students who have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Remember: your transcript will be one of the components of your application.
  • Gather your materials and set aside time to complete the application
  • Complete the written component of the application (which you can find on our website). Remember that this is part of what we use to determine which applicants are awarded a scholarship, so take it seriously! Be sure to proofread carefully and double-check that you’ve answered all questions fully before submitting it online. Do not leave any information blank; if something doesn’t apply to you, simply write ‘N/A’ there instead.

When will I know if my application was selected for an interview?

Your application will be reviewed by a committee of faculty and staff, who will decide who will be invited to interview. Interviews are typically held in mid-May. An email will be sent if your application is selected for an interview or if you are not selected for an interview.
