Arizona State University

Arizona State University is a public research university and the largest by enrollment in the United States. It is also one of the most ethnically diverse universities with students from all 50 states and 130 countries. ASU is a research university with a “comprehensive” doctoral program, which means that all of its programs are research-based. The school’s mission is to provide “a student-centered education, where academic excellence is grounded in access, equity and inclusion” while preparing graduates for leadership roles that benefit communities domestically as well as globally.

Northern Arizona University

Northern Arizona University (NAU) is located in Flagstaff, Arizona and is a public research university. The university was established in 1899 as the Northern Arizona Normal School to train teachers for the territory’s many school districts. In 1959, it became Northern Arizona State College and gained its current title when it joined with Estrella Mountain Community College in Phoenix in 2005 to become one of the largest universities in the United States.

The university has a total undergraduate enrollment of 23,976 and a total graduate enrollment of 5,923.

University of Arizona

The University of Arizona is a public research university located in Tucson, Arizona, United States. The University of Arizona was founded in 1885 and is the oldest and largest institution of higher education in the state of Arizona. The institution consists of 15 colleges, schools and institutes which offer bachelor’s degrees through doctorates. As one of the top public universities in the U.S., UA has over 100 undergraduate majors with more than 20 minors to choose from.

The athletics teams that represent this school are called Wildcats (the name comes from their mascot) and they compete at NCAA Division I level as members of the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12).

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University is a private, non-profit university located in Daytona Beach, Florida. The university was founded in 1925 by aviator and aircraft manufacturer Donald Wills Douglas Sr. as the Embry–Riddle Flying School. The school now consists of five colleges: the College of Business, College of Engineering and Computing Sciences; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; School of Aeronautics; School of Applied Aviation Sciences; and School of Graduate Studies.

The university has two campuses (Prescott and Daytona Beach) as well as learning centers around the world including China, Korea, UAE-Dubai International Academic City (UAE), Saudi Arabia-Jeddah Health Care City (Saudi Arabia), United Kingdom-London Academic City campus (UK).

Ottawa University

Ottawa University is a private, non-profit, liberal arts university founded in 1891. It has a total enrollment of 2,600 students and 100 programs of study. The school’s main campus is located in Ottawa Hills, Ohio; it also has locations in Arizona (Phoenix) and Florida (Gainesville). Ottawa University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission to award bachelor’s degrees as well as master’s degrees on their main campus.

Ottawa University was founded by members of the Christian Reformed Church who wanted to provide higher education opportunities for women within that denomination. Today it remains affiliated with this denomination as well as other Christian denominations including Evangelical Lutheran Church In America (ELCA), United Methodist Church and Mennonite Church USA
