I’m not sure if you have been following the news about nursing schools in Australia, but this is a crisis that we are trying to deal with.

It’s a complicated problem, though not a difficult one. If people would take the time to listen, we would be able to come up with many solutions.

The main issue is that nursing schools are closing and there’s no way for nurses to get new or updated qualifications. It’s also difficult for people who want to become nurses because they can’t go to school.

My plan is simple: All students currently enrolled in nursing schools should be allowed to finish their degrees and nurses should receive additional training at these schools before they close them down!

The big question on everyone’s mind right now—students, parents, teachers—is when things are going to return to normalcy. The truth is we don’t know yet—much like with any crisis that has affected our society in the past, it could take months or even years before we get back there. Knowing that these changes may last longer than initially expected should be motivation enough for students who were considering pushing back their start date; it would be in everyone’s best interest if we all just tried our best right now and dealt with things as they come.

Nursing school makes you think of a lot of things. You have to be in good physical shape and have the stamina for a demanding job. You will be working with people who are often sick and you need a certain amount of emotional toughness to deal with that. On top of all of this, you’ll also be taking tests from time to time – usually at the end of each semester but sometimes even more often than that!

The NCLEX-RN is one such test. It’s administered by the National Council Licensure Examination Board (NCLEX-RN) and is used to determine if someone has met certain standards for entry into nursing practice as defined by their state board(s) or jurisdiction(s). First, you should know that the TEAS test is a knowledge test, not a skills test. You won’t be asked to perform any physical actions like inserting an IV or starting an IV line. You’ll need to know some of this information for the exam, but you won’t have to actually do anything. The TEAS test is all about figuring out how much you know about nursing and if you’re ready for school.

That said, there may be no better time than now to start studying! If your nursing school has been delayed due to COVID-19 concerns, it may give you more time to study and really prepare yourself for the TEAS test and your nursing program in general. Of course, please check with your nursing school on whether they will still require TEAS testing before beginning classes due to COVID-19​ related delays/changes.

Additionally, some schools are still offering in-person testing. Others have moved their tests online because of social distancing measures designed to slow the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
