2) It’s hard for students at Georgetown to get hands-on clinical experience because there are only two hospitals that are affiliated with the school: George Washington University Hospital and Children’s National Medical Center (both located in Washington D.C.). There aren’t any affiliated hospitals or clinics located outside of these two cities so if you want to get real-world experience before graduating from med school then you may have trouble finding somewhere nearby where they’ll hire you once
So you’re looking at the list of top medical schools, and Georgetown’s not even on it. Why?
