WLU Global Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship.

The WLU Global Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship is an award for international undergraduate students entering their first year at the Waterloo campus. The award ranges from $5,000 to $80,000 and is based on academic achievement and demonstrated financial need. In order to be eligible, you must be an international student (not a permanent resident or Canadian citizen).

The WLU International Tuition Award of Distinction is an award for outstanding international undergraduate students entering their first year at the Brantford campus. The award ranges from $4,500 to $9,500 and is based on academic achievement. There are no citizenship restrictions.

Academic Excellence Scholarships.

Academic Excellence Scholarships

These are awarded to students entering first year in any program. They are based on academic merit and faculty-specific criteria which may vary by faculty. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have an admission average of 90% or better and must have applied to Laurier by February 1st. This is a one-time scholarship that is non-renewable.

Entrance Scholarships for Students with Disabilities.

• Be a full time student in an academic program
• Have a physical, medical or learning disability, as defined by the AccessAbility Services (AAS) office of your current institution
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
• Demonstrate financial need as determined by OSAP

Theatre Arts Entrance Award.

• Worth: $1000
• Faculty of Music, Theatre Arts Entrance Award
• You are eligible for this scholarship if you are enrolled in the Faculty of Music. You must have a 70% average in your most recent year of studies. Additionally, you should demonstrate leadership and involvement in the fields of music and theatre.

Rotary International House and Senate Entrance Scholarships.

The Rotary International House and Senate Entrance Scholarships:

Merit-based scholarships are awarded to students with a demonstrated commitment to community service. Students are chosen based on the strength of their academic record, their involvement in extra-curricular activities and their level of commitment to community.

Entrance Scholarships in Music Performance.

These scholarships are awarded to outstanding students entering the Bachelor of Music program on the basis of academic achievement. Students wishing to be considered must complete a successful audition in music. Award value: $2,000 (renewable).

In order to be considered for this scholarship/award/bursary, students will need to submit their application by March 1.
