A Brief Introduction About Yunnan Agricultural University

Yunnan Agricultural University is located in Kunming, Yunnan, China. Established in 1938 by the merger of three universities, it acquired its present name and status in 1999. It is one of the 24 national key universities under “Project 211”.

The university is composed of 16 colleges and departments offering various programs of study at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels covering ten academic areas: agriculture and forestry, engineering, science, arts, economics and management, law, education science, medicine and public health science.

As of 2013 the university has 15000 full-time students with about 1100 teachers including more than 300 professors.

Yunnan Agricultural University Scholarship 2019-2020 Details

Yunnan Agricultural University offers scholarships for the year 2019-2020 to outstanding international students. There are three levels of scholarship and each covers partly or whole tuition fees, application fee. The university will award scholarships for international students on the basis of academic performance, English proficiency and other criteria

Scholarship Details:

• Tuition Award: The award covers partial or full tuition fees.
• Academic Achievement Scholarship: It is available to both study Chinese language and degree programs. It is awarded based on applicants’ academic results of last completed study period at Yunnan Agricultural University (or other universities/colleges). Applicants who score 90 at least in previous semester will be considered for this scholarship. Students who qualify for this award can also be considered for other scholarships if they meet eligibility requirements.

• Notarized highest diploma (photocopy)
• Academic transcripts (photocopy)
• Certificate of HSK
• Photocopy of passport
• Two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors

• After the deadline, applications are closed.
• If you register before February 28, 2019 you will receive a $10 discount on your application fee.
