Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program is a full scholarship established by MOE for the purpose of supporting Chinese universities to attract outstanding international students for undergraduate programs.

It is administrated by China Scholarship Council (hereafter referred to as CSC). Universities listed in Appendix 1 are entitled to admit international students with Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program. The duration of Chinese Government Scholarship- Bilateral Program varies with different subjects, ranging from three years to six years.
The scholarship aims to support Zhejiang University to recruit excellent international students for undergraduate degree studies at Zhejiang University.

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, and must be between the ages of 18 and 22.

- Applicants should have attained excellent academic performance during his/her high school study and be a full-time senior high school student with all credits passed or a graduate during the application period who intends to apply for undergraduate program at Zhejiang University, or an applicant who intends to continue his/her study at Zhejiang University after graduation from other universities, etc.
- Applicant will not be allowed to apply for Chinese Government Scholarship if he/she has been awarded other scholarship programs funded by Chinese government in the same year; nor can he/she receive two scholarships at the same time; Those violating this regulation will have their scholarship dismissed immediately upon discovery.
2. Applicants are required to submit their notarized highest diploma or degree certificate and academic transcripts, language certificate with the required score (HSK 4) and pre-admission letter from the host university.

- Passport-styled photograph;
- Language certificate with the required score (HSK 4) and pre-admission letter from Zhejiang University;
3. Applicants must be studying at or graduated from high school when applying for the CSC scholarship.

4. HSK 4 certificate is required when applying this scholarship, applicants can apply scholarship before they get HSK 4 certificate,but they must submit HSK 4 certificate before Sept 2019 (or in same year)!

- If applicants cannot submit all required documents on time, the scholarship will be canceled. Zhejiang University will not cover any fee for that.

6. The school will not cover any fee during application period, which also applies to visa application fee, medical examination fee and any other fee incurred during application period!
The following fees are NOT covered by the scholarship:
- Accommodation;
- Credit evaluation fee;
- Insurance fee;
- Language training fee (for students who do not meet the language requirement for direct enrollment);
- Registration fee; and any other personal expenses.
